Thereafter we continue our trip, and on our way out, we use to feed the monkeys with some bananas. Our next stop on this trip would be Brikama Gambia's 2nd largest town with over 150,000 inhabited. Here we visit the wood carving factory and you can buy cheap and beautiful carvings made of mahogany and other tree types.
Further on we drive to kartong the last border village on the south bank with Senegal. Here we visit the reptile farm. And on a round tour of the farm we see different kinds of reptiles like the royal python, rock python, puff adder, spitting cobra, sand snake, the Nile and iguana lizards, tortoises etc. We then continue our journey back through south Gambia on the way we have lunch break at the paradise beach bar and restaurant, the best beach bar by the coast. We finally end this interesting day trip at the Bakau crocodile pool where we will be visiting Charlie and his family.

*2. ROMANTIC & SUNSET CRUISE  

An evening trip on the mighty River Gambia . We cruise on a pirogue between the mangroves and eat delicious buffet at an Exotic restaurant built on poles on the river. *3. A TASTE OF SENEGAL 

Combination of a day trip to the Gambia's only neighbor Senegal with a safari in the FATHALA game reserve to sight herbivorous animals like the Rhinos, Giraffe, antelopes, Zebras, etc. And a boat a boat trip on the Senegal river to meet people you never think exist. *4. TASTE OF AFRICA

Join us on a two day trip to Georgetown the colonial capital of the Gambia, cruise on the river Gambia from Kuntaur where you can sight hippos, chimpanzees, Nile crocodiles, Baboons and monkeys etc.

 After pick from the hotel we drive toward Banjul for the ferry to cross to Barra the northern side on the river Gambia. Getting of the ferry, we board a car and a drive to Kuntaur where we begin the river trip. But on the way we have our continental morning bush breakfast and from here, we drive towards the stone circles in Wassu featured on the Gambian 50 DALASIS note. These interesting stones have been in existence since the 13th century. We then drive to Kuntaur and upon arrival there we will have a glimpse of the village and the possibility of seeing the rice mill since rice is the staple food of this country and also how local people's make furniture's out of bamboo trees.
At 13:00 hrs we are set for the boat trip, and the boat we will be using is called a pirogue( a typical African boat made out of mahogany and mango trees). Once on board we will have a very delicious meal buffet. After the meal we will embark on the river tour to sight the hippos, Nile crocodiles, chimpanzees, baboon and birds etc... On the river trip we will be sailing pass a rehabilitation park called Baboon Island National park, which is located in the middle of the river. Here's is where chimps are rehabilitated. After about some hours sailing, we will arrive jangjangbureh camp in Georgetown, where we shall overnight and eventually there will be African entertainment after dinner. Early in the morning After breakfast, we will set out fro site seeing Tour to visit the old slave house, the prison, the Freedom tree, slave market, and the local market etc. Thereafter, we start our journey back to the hotel where there will be more interesting sightings on the south bank of the Gambia Departure 06:20 hrs and back by day after 17:00 hrs

AN EXCURSION FOR THE FAMILY/ HALF DAY TRIP.....
I pick up all guests at their hotels early in the morning and drive directly to the Banjul ferry terminal. We will experience the Gambian morning life when people going to the market in Banjul, and to sell their goods and Senegalese returning home with goods bought from the Albert Market. We then cross to Barra a village on the northern side of the river Gambia, then upon arrival we will board an open jeep to drive towards the border of Senegal. When we arrive at the border your passport will be collected at the immigration post fro entry stamp to enter Senegal, the we will drive about 3km from the border to the FATHALA National Park, arriving at the park we will pay the tickets per head to enter the park. We will then start the tour in the park in an open jeep a drive around the park to spot the herbivorous animals, like Antelopes, Gazelles, Zebras, Rhinos, Giraffe's, warthogs, waterbucks and some beautiful birds. After spotting this animals we will head back to the entrance of the park for a good picnic lunch. After the lunch we will start driving towards the border for an exit stamp for our return journey back to Gambia. A day full of excitement, and experiencing two countries in a single day.
